Earlier this year, the Reality Defender executive team had the honor of taking part in the 2024 Intel Ignite cohort. Intel Ignite is a highly selective global accelerator program designed to support early-stage deep tech startups, with focus on helping innovative companies scale rapidly through a combination of mentorship, business development, and access to Intel's vast resources. As one of ten companies selected from 226 applicants, we are grateful to the judges who selected us for believing in our mission to provide the best deepfake detection technology on the market.

Along with Reality Defender’s co-founders, I benefited greatly from the expertise shared by the mentors and industry experts Intel Ignite assigned to our team during the 12-week program. These mentors provided us with invaluable guidance when it comes to product development, go-to-market strategies, IP protection, and fundraising. Recognizing Reality Defender as a leader in the deepfake detection space, Intel helped us advance in our most crucial mission: to continue expanding our partnerships and brand recognition in order to provide as many clients as possible with the most reliable and powerful deepfake detection tools on the market.

In the crowded cybersecurity market, companies face the challenge of distinguishing themselves no matter how essential their products are. One of the most valuable parts of our Intel Ignite mentorship was the exploration of distinguishing ourselves within the busy market and highlight our product to potential clients, communicate about the frequent updates and new features we are constantly rolling out to fit client needs within the fast-paced context of AI technology, and continue to secure partnerships that will improve our product and reinforce our mission of leveraging AI to detect and stop malicious deepfakes.

As we reflect on our time in the Intel Ignite program, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible support and guidance we received from the Intel team. Their expertise and resources have been instrumental in helping shape our future, and we are thrilled to have been part of such a prestigious cohort.
